Preston Daniels
b 1983 The Plains, Virginia, lives and works in Los Angeles, California
Preston Daniels is a sculptor and painter whose work merges atmospheric light and text with reference to surrealism and romanticism. His seemingly barren hallucinations of words, drapery, and landscapes draw inspiration from the lush embellishments of the Hudson River School. Preston received a Masters of Fine Art from California State University Fullerton in 2010 and was an artist in residence at The Moosey Residency. Selected solo exhibitions include Mark Moore Gallery, Los Angeles California, and The Office, Miami, Florida. The exhibition, “A Sense of Space,” at ABRI MARS is his first showing in New York.
