Loading… was a beautiful accident. A combination of kindness, community, and deep dedication to the art world by a handful of spirited individuals. The endeavor began as a chain reaction of audacious yeses and deep generosity, transforming what would have been a sudden cancellation in 2025 into an unexpectedly refreshing cultural exchange.
Built around meaningful encounters with art and grounded in shared conviction, Loading… is an invitational art fair organized by the galleries themselves, embracing a collaborative, flexible model that prioritizes dialogue, process, and conviction over spectacle or scale.
Situated within the openness of Upstate Art Weekend, Loading… has created a space for meaningful exchange among artists, curators, dealers, and patrons, valuing presence and engagement when the cultural center of gravity shifts from NYC to Hudson Valley during the summer months.
For 2026, the 2nd edition of Loading… will again be hosted in Hudson, New York, against the stunning backdrop of The Caboose–a fully sustainable restored historic railway depot. Founding galleries ABRI MARS, DUTTON, and Post Times will be joined by several notable contemporary galleries to present a diverse range of international artists in Hudson Valley for the first time.

PARTICIPATING GALLERIES →
ABRI MARS (Lower East Side, New York)
Since opening in September 2024, ABRI MARS has promoted early-career and underrecognized artists whose practices are informed by international and polycultural backgrounds. Emphasizing conceptually rigorous and deeply intimate disciplines, these perspectives are centered around a diverse range of programming. Located in New York’s Lower East Side, the gallery’s intimate space allows for focused exhibitions, cross-cultural exchange, and engagements promoting somatic presence.
D. D. D. D. (Tribeca, New York & Singapore)
D. D. D. D., currently located in the Tribeca neighborhood of NYC, functions as an undefined space, where the creative agency of the artist is supreme, and where the gallery's brand takes a back seat. In a city that demands their artists compromise for reasons outside of their art, D. D. D. D. aims to present another viable vision for creative life. In service of this goal, D. D. D. D. opened Queensway Television in 2024, a video-art project space in Singapore located in a historic shopping center.
DUTTON (West Village, New York)
Dutton, New York is a dealer specializing in contemporary, self-taught, and visionary artists. Since establishing a formative space in 2010, Dutton focuses on 2-3 exhibitions and participates in several art fairs a year. The core of the program is the discovery and introduction of overlooked and underrecognized artists in dialogue with contemporary art practices. Showing works rooted within a singular language, material experimentation, and sincerity, Dutton encourages acquisitions that have meaningful and generative importance. Dutton is a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance, participating in art fairs including Independent 20th Century, New York, and NADA, New York, and represents estates with sustained advocacy which has led to strong recognition of self-taught and outsider artists within museum, academic, and collecting communities.
Heft (Lower East Side, New York)
Heft Gallery is a contemporary gallery for the coming decade, experimental and non-conforming–showing art that’s made with, and addresses, the ubiquitous systems of contemporary life. Based in New York City, Heft presents exhibitions, digital releases, installations, and events focused on artists working with algorithms, artificial intelligence, procedural processes, conceptual structures, and emerging technologies. The gallery champions a new generation of creators who apply human intuition to systems-based art making–exploring how logic, code, and computational tools can become vehicles for beauty, meaning, and cultural reflection.
Lobster Club (Arts District, Los Angeles)
Known for its immersive group shows, Lobster Club has exhibited the work of over seventy emerging and mid-career artists, curating shows across Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Mexico City, and Paris. Beyond its exhibitions, Lobster Club hosts an annual residency, with past artists including Lane Walkup, Michael McGregor, and Conor Murgatroyd. The gallery's permanent home is in Los Angeles' Arts District, with programming in New York each spring and fall.
Post Times (Lower East Side, New York)
Post Times is a contemporary art gallery devoted to presenting good art, often an artist’s first solo show in New York or a mid-career artist who has been overlooked for some time. What might distinguish Post Times from other galleries is a sensibility that values conceptual rigor and material eccentricity equally, often with a sense of humor.
PROXYCO (Lower East Side, New York)
PROXYCO Gallery was established in 2017 by Alexandra Morris (b. Mexico City) and Laura Saenz (b. Bogotá) in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The contemporary art gallery presents and promotes emerging and mid-career artists primarily from Latin America, while framing their work within a global contemporary art dialogue. PROXYCO does not treat “Latin American” as a rigid label, but rather uses it as a fluid framework to center cultural heritage and global artistic perspectives on equal footing, emphasizing the rich diversity of artistic approaches from the region.
